18 year old Glenmore Park resident, Jazmine Alessio, has been crowned Miss Teen Australia International 2019 and
she did it with nothing but ease.
Jazmine, or ‘Jazzie’ as she is more affectionately known, entered the pageant system towards the latter half of 2018
and went in to the competition with the mentality that what will be will be and its the philanthropy and camaraderie that matter the most.
Competing in formal wear, fashion wear and personal interview Jazzie spent months rehearsing, working on articulation and pronunciation, coaching and finding
the perfect outfits which she sourced from local boutique store, Visage Boutique on High Street, Penrith. As they say practice makes
perfect and Jazzie was, without a doubt, the picture of perfection at the recent National Final held in Parramatta.
This recent win will see Jazzie head to the United States in July of this year to compete for the world title among 50 plus other young women from around the globe.
With a big few months ahead, Jazzie has already begun vamping up her preparation activities and this includes round the world international travel that
will see Jazzie take her title to countries such as Holland, England and Italy while promoting
her country, title and her platform, Heart Health in conjunction with the Australian Heart Foundation.

When asked, this remarkable teen said her mission through this journey is to see greater awareness in regards to heart health, to see continued growth
and self development and to connect and engage with others in the community, supporting organisations and charities that align with her mission.
A quote of reference for Jazzie is ‘We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give’. A reminder that her life will be all
the more richer for helping those around her as apposed to focusing on materialistic items.
A high achiever and with the world at her feet we are sure we can expect to see some big things from Jazzie Alessio.
