For one July night only, two of Australia’s favourite comedic middle-men are coming to Katoomba!
Performing
an intimate, heartfelt and hilarious acoustic show at the Baroque Room on Friday July 19th, Paul McDermott (Doug Anthony All Stars, Sideshow) and Stephen
'Gatesy' Gates (Tripod) will deliver "songs of beauty, songs of heartbreak, freshly-minted comedy concoctions, old squabbles and spontaneous nonsense" -
Penney & Logan. Paul and Gatesy have been privately singing together for five years after being friends for 18 years. Now it’s time for them to
share their combined creativity with East Coast audiences.
"McDermott and Gates made their official debut as a musical duo at a one-off event at the 2017 Ballarat Cabaret Festival. That one-off spawned a sequel with a sold-out show at this year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival, and subsequent performances before thousands of people at the Port Fairy and Woodford Folk Festivals and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. They’ve formed their own two-man supergroup, The Bloody Lovelies and released a single called Stoned Crows. The poetry of their lyrics and the beauty of their voices have enthralled audiences, with demands for further shows coming from all corners of Australia." - Penney & Logan.
Tickets on sale at the Carrington Hotel reception desk, on the door at the Baroque Room, or via www.fusionboutique.com.au. Hurry before they're snapped up!
