FÖLLAKZOID debut Australian tour!

A defining quality about Chile's Föllakzoid is 'space'. The space they give their music to grow on its own, the space they create between instruments, the inner space they explore and the outer space they invoke, the fear of space and the freedom from space, the space within space and the space without.

Föllakzoid are masters of space!

Threatening and comforting, exhilarating and hypnotising, it is a rare band that balances order and chaos with such a perfect touch, yet Föllakzoid handle it with aplomb.

After many years of anticipation, Australian audiences will finally get a to experience the breathing vibrating space that Föllakzoid create, when Domingo and Diego make their first ever foray to our shores to hypnotise audiences across Sydney, Melbourne, Katoomba and one very special performance at Hobart's world-famous winter solstice festival, Dark Mofo.

Heavily informed by the heritage of the ancient music of the Andes, the band has learned to integrate this influence with contemporary sounds of their times, creating a rich yet minimalist atmosphere. On the books, they are a mono-tonal band; experienced live, they are travellers of the mind, creating musical enlightenment everywhere they play.

The band is constantly performing around the world, including visits to large world class festivals and venues such as, Primavera Sound, The Good Room (NY), Berghain(DE), All Tomorrow's Parties, Levitation, Roskilde, Best Kept Secret, Lollapalooza, Guess Who!, Austin Psych Fest and more. There is a reason why.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to see authentic and incendiary FÖLLAKZOID make their debut appearance in Australia!
