Exhibit: ‘Lincoln's Rock to Little Kickerbell’

Join Rex-Livingston Art + Objects this March and celebrate the impressive works from contemporary Blue Mountains abstract landscape artist, Ruth Le Cheminant in her latest exhibit “Lincoln's Rock to Little Kickerbell”. Ruth is fluent in the art world, using acrylic paint on canvas to form truly engaging final works. She enjoys using colour, texture, patterning and layering to create interest, depth and complexities in the painting.

“It was in returning to Australia that I came to realise this geography does not surrender itself easily to interpretation. To see this country – to allow it to show itself – requires an intimate eye, one that matures after returning to a place again and again. In doing so, the viewer becomes poised for moments of accidental discovery where beauty and meaning are revealed.” – Ruth Le Cheminant (2014).
